The smaller size, lower weight, longer cycle life and quicker recharge characteristics of the batteries are excellent for use in motorized wheelchairs and electric schooters. Chargers come in different shapes and sizes. Some are integrated in the wheelchairs, others are stand alone mechanisms. It is crucial that original charger is used on original battery type. More information in the chargers page. 

A variety of contouring seating systems and fleece products help accomplish optimal positioning. Siting for 10 or more hours a day can be hard on the body. If the pressure is too high even for a short period of time, pressure sores and ulcers appear. In order to minimize them, skin and tissue must receive adequate blood flow. The degree of pressure needed to achieve true pressure relief is below 30 mmHg. There are various cushions on the market, including manual and automatic air-cushions, that inflate/deflate in order to allow blood to circle in all areas. Proper positioning is mandatory to wheelchair-bound patients for prevention of deformities and accommodation of fixed deformities or injuries.
