Maintenance is important for proper operation and safety of the user. The recommended schedule for maintenance is following: 

  1. Daily
    • Battery recharging
  2. Weekly (or at least biweekly)
    • General operation
    • Tightness of axle bolts
    • Tire pressure
    • Battery recharging (if wheelchair was not used daily)
  3. Monthly
    • Back and seats
    • Arms
    • Front riggings
    • Rear wheels
    • Front casters
    • Wheel locks
    • Battery maintenance (wet)
    • Cushions
    • Basic cleaning
  4. 6 Months
    • Frame/cross brace
    • All welded joints
    • Lube bearings
    • Lube center pin
    • Lube rear axle
  5. Yearly
    • Battery inspection / replacement
    • The entire wheelchair should be checked, serviced and cleaned by the dealer.
